About the position The IT Service Desk Technician, Tier 1 role at Anchor Point IT Solutions is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and customer service. This full-time position involves providing technical support to clients, resolving Tier 1 and 2 technical issues, and managing service requests. The role requires a blend of technical skills and interpersonal abilities, making it ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced team environment. The position is hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at the Santa Barbara headquarters twice a week. Responsibilities • Provide technical support to Anchor Point clients via phone and email. , • Drive to client offices to provide in-person assistance. , • Resolve Tier 1 and 2 technical issues and manage service request queues. , • Document time spent on tasks and maintain strong note-taking skills. , • Implement various IT projects including Mac and Windows operating systems, cloud services, network printers, wireless solutions, and networking equipment. Requirements • 1-2 years of experience in the IT field as a consultant or member of an IT Department. , • Certifications in CompTIA Network +, Mac OSX, Windows 10, Windows Server Active Directory, and Entra are preferred. , • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Help Desk support is preferred. Nice-to-haves • Experience with Microsoft 365 is preferred.
