Job description Broker Assistant, Service Advocate Your Insurance Advocates is a boutique style health insurance brokerage in the greater Atlanta area, serving clients across the US. We strive to provide peace of mind for our existing and future clients with honest and accurate advice in regards to their health insurance options. We are looking for people who will help us maintain service based relationships with our clients while growing our business. YIA has an immediate opening for an experienced Broker Assistant. This individual should be highly motivated, driven, organized, can multitask, and should excel working independently/remote as well as in a group dynamic. This position will be responsible for assisting in supporting the success of the company by providing excellent service to our clients. If support is your specialty, we want to hear from you! This list of responsibilities of the Broker Assistant is not all inclusive: • Implement office operations and procedures • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication • Ensure office efficiency by maintaining office systems and procedures • Handle incoming and outgoing communication via email and phones • Scheduling incoming calls to appropriate sales departments • Support the Sales Managers with scheduling appointments, gathering data for quoting, and tracking sales and service within CRM • Providing service to clients, requests can include: delivering ID cards, billing issues, payments and cancellations, answering questions, enrollment requests Qualifications, skills and requirements for the position: • Maintain quiet and secure work environment remotely, wireless internet • 3-5 years’ experience as a Customer Service provider or relevant administrative role • Experience in health insurance industry is a plus • Experience with various CRMs • Experience in managing multiple web platforms • Proficient with data entry • Proficient with Google web based systems • Excellent organizational and time management skills is a must • Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated • Positive attitude, attention to detail and ability to work independently • Strong sense of patience and overall willingness to give peace of mind • Ability to stay flexible, we are a small company continuously evolving to support fast growth This position is offered on a track that leads to higher-tier service provision and potential to transition to sales.
