About the position The Administrative Assistant (Office Specialist 2) position at the Oregon Liquor & Cannabis Commission (OLCC) is a part-time role focused on providing essential office support for the Public Safety Division. The role involves managing communication, maintaining records, and ensuring efficient office operations while contributing to the agency's mission of regulating alcohol and cannabis products in Oregon. Responsibilities • Act as the primary office support and communication hub for the Public Safety Division. , • Collect, dispense, and record information to and from inspectors. , • Report information in various spreadsheets and databases. , • Respond to inquiries from the public, industry, and agency personnel via telephone, correspondence, or in-person contact. , • Maintain the regional file systems and regularly review for improvement and increased efficiency. , • Assess the need for regional office supplies and reorder needed supplies to maintain adequate inventory. Requirements • Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents OR an associate degree in any field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Nice-to-haves • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. , • Good customer service skills and ability to communicate with the public. , • Ability to adapt to changing office environments and new computer applications.
