The Email Marketing Strategist is an organized, results-driven individual with a passion for email, analytics, and reporting. This individual is responsible for building, overseeing, and managing ongoing email campaigns and preparing them for deployment. The Email Marketing Strategist has a strong understanding of email best practices and ensures email strategy aligns with the goals of our clients. This individual is a strong leader, able to communicate well, and manage workflow and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The Email Marketing Strategist thrives in an agile environment, has a passion for creating their best work, possesses a can-do attitude, and is a driven self-starter. Essential Responsibilities: • Responsible for execution of email projects and products following guidelines and templates provided • Utilize the Blueshift visual editor where possible to streamline process and deliver in line with the creative turnaround times • Review metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis by channel, product, lifecycle goals & relevant email metrics, and identify quick win performance enhancements - Matchbacks, CTR, Open and Bounce Rate • Assist with the strategic plan and vision as it relates to email products as a whole and client by client basis • Identify & establish KPSs, segmentation strategies, and a testing plan for optimization • Help ideate new email campaigns and strategies to help grow the email marketing channel • Responsible for understanding the scope of all email projects/products • Well-versed in our ESP platforms (Blueshift) its capabilities, requirements, limitations, and data structures • Creating new accounts in Blueshift • Versed in email design principles and best practices (including responsive design), A/B testing - including a focus on accessibility, cross-device behavior, and troubleshooting compatibility issues • Collaborate successfully with creative designers, copywriters, and data analysts • Understand all Stream email products and their audiences • Ensure all emails are delivered on time and within client expectations • Take constructive feedback in proofing and apply changes to emails as needed • List strategy - segmentation, reactivation tactics, how to leverage data from all sources for each client to make sure they complete the buying journey with a sales or service transaction • Work with email team and other departments (data, creative team, client services) to clarify requests, troubleshoot, and keep projects moving forward through the appropriate channels • Ensure Workfront is always up-to-date with project statues and comment when needed to communicate any potential risks to a deployment date • Use WF reporting to ensure all emails hit deployment monthly Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Graphic Design, Web Design, Email Marketing, or related field • 2+ years of related work experience • Must be proficient with Blueshift & Microsoft Products • Experience in the automotive industry a plus Skills & Experience: • Understanding of coding languages • Knowledge of automation/email platforms: SendGrid, Blueshift, Site Impact, Salesforce • Ability to work with data in excel format • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to work well under deadlines, and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently for the team and his or herself • Strong communication skills regarding communicating with clients, vendors, and internal staff • Highly proficient in communication skills • Thrive in a deadline-driven, high volume work environment • Consistently striving for operational excellence and being as efficient as possible • Proactively brainstorming ideas of how to advance our email product offerings or optimize our workflow Apply tot his job
