Growth Marketing & Advertising Specialist – Ecommerce Sales Sprint (6 Weeks kick-start campaign)

Circular Clothing Co. is a resale fashion startup based in Australia. We launched our Shopify site in May 2025 with a bold mission: make secondhand clothing stylish, accessible, and worth buying. We’re Gen Z–focused, growing fast on social media, and generating steady eBay sales but our direct-to-site sales need a serious push.
We’re looking to bring on an experience marketer to run a 6-week sprint to kick-start direct sales and set up a scalable growth engine.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a hands-on, all-rounder growth marketer to take full ownership of our ecommerce growth strategy and execution.
This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, moves quickly, tests and pivots often, and knows how to make real people-focused content convert.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Creating and executing a 6-week growth campaign plan focused on Shopify sales
- Running and testing paid ads across Meta, TikTok, Google – and exploring other platforms like YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, or anywhere else that fits.
Don’t just follow what we’ve done - bring fresh thinking and new strategies :)
- Leveraging:
Existing brand content
Licensed stock imagery
UGC (sourced or briefed)
Real-people formats - e.g. reviews, try-ons, “Can you believe I thrifted this?” style hooks
-Collaborating with our in-house content creator to adapt content for ads
Identifying and working with micro-influencers or creators to produce scrappy, scroll-stopping UGC
-Making fast, performance-based adjustments - pivot weekly based on results
- Suggesting and testing landing pages, discount offers, creative hooks, or sales tactics
- Using Klaviyo to support the campaign through emails or flows
- Exploring growth in the USA (we’ve seen early traction) while doubling down on regional Australian markets
CURRENT SETUP:
- Shopify Plus store (4,000+ SKUs live)
- eBay integration (currently our strongest sales channel)
- Social media creator (Gen Z tone, high-volume output)
- Freelance web developer (available for changes/landing pages)
- Klaviyo installed
- Licensed stock image library
- Consignment model currently paused - focus is pure sales
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE AUSTRALIA-BASED,
…but knowledge of the Australian fashion/retail landscape is a big plus.
WHO YOU ARE
- A proven ecommerce growth marketer who knows how to sell, not just build funnels
- Obsessed with UGC-style, people-first content that feels native to the platform
- Skilled in running ads across multiple platforms and identifying high-ROI opportunities
- Scrappy, creative, and resourceful - you can do more with less
- Analytical and strategic, but not precious - if something’s not converting, you pivot
- Bonus: experience in fashion, resale, Gen Z audiences, or helping early-stage brands scale
TIMELINE & OPPORTUNITY
- Start ASAP
- 6-week sprint to drive direct Shopify sales
- Clear KPIs: revenue growth, ROAS, on-site conversion
- If results are strong, we’re open to longer-term engagement
- Budget is realistic for a startup: we care about results, not fluff.
