Youth & Adult Programs Assistant (TEMP)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Assist in production aspects of Youth & Adult Program events in collaboration with the Senior Youth & Adult Programs Manager.
• Communicate with library and assist in concert set up.
• Prepare external correspondence for Youth & Adult Programs, including participation handbooks and newsletters.
• Assist with promotional planning for all Youth & Adult programming, including ad placement and design.
• Research promotional outlets and manage YAP programming social media presence.
• Monitor applications for all YAP programming, including payment and application deadline reminders.
• Serve as 'staff on duty' at YAP program events and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of office experience, or equivalent work experience in an office setting.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines.
• Accuracy with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficiency in Mac, Google cloud-based environment, Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media, Relational Databases, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities.
• Punctual and reliable team member.
Nice-to-haves
• Familiarity with the arts industry is helpful.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
