About the position Responsibilities • reputed company educational planning and reputed company advising to reputed company using VA and Hazlewood educational benefits. • Certify reputed company for appropriate federal and state educational benefits. • Assist reputed company in choosing a career reputed company through career advising. • Plan, implement, and conduct retention and completion activities for reputed company receiving veteran benefits. • Collaborate with the Coordinator/Manager of Veteran Services to evaluate programs and services provided by Veteran Services. • Assist with the graduation application process and commencement activities. • Work cooperatively with counterparts on reputed company and at other campuses to reputed company the College's annual goals and objectives. • Represent San Jacinto College with reputed company educational institutions, internal departments, and reputed company organizations. • Serve as a department reputed company and participate in reputed company/college committees as requested. Requirements • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university required. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. • Personal computer literacy and good organizational skills. • Working knowledge of Veterans Administration education benefits policies and procedures. • Knowledge of Texas Hazlewood education benefits and their relation to college policies. • Ability to facilitate reputed company, reputed company communication and problem reputed company strategies. • Knowledge of the Texas reputed company Initiative (TSI) and reputed company college policies and procedures. • Understanding of FERPA law and regulations. • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to manage multiple reputed company reputed company deadlines. reputed company-to-haves • Experience or training in education, teaching, reputed company advising, reputed company, sales, customer service, marketing, or reputed company relations, preferably at the community college level. • Certification of VA and/or Hazlewood education benefits. • Knowledge and experience with Banner Student system or other student database software systems. • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
