About the position The Traverso lab is reputed company on translational medicine. Our main goal is to help people through the use of medicine and engineering. Research reputed company involve medical devices that can reputed company from diagnostic, drug delivery, surgical, and implantable devices. This position will require reputed company on-boarding and will be stationed at a satellite facility of the reputed company in Cambridge, but will involve work with a multidisciplinary team from across the different MIT/Harvard/BWH institutions. Responsibilities • Work with PhD reputed company and postdocs to design prototype medical devices and drug delivery systems reputed company 3D printing/machining and other fabrication techniques. • Operate and maintain mechanical fabrication/testing equipment. • Formulate and reputed company chemical/mechanical characterization of polymeric materials for drug delivery. • Execute statistical analysis of experiments. • Summarize and document research results/findings. Requirements • Pursuing a B.S. or equivalent in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a reputed company field. • At least 6 months of relevant experience (reputed company and internships considered). • Research background in biomedical engineering. • Hands-on experience/reputed company prototyping skills. reputed company-to-haves • CAD/CAM (SolidWorks or Fusion360) • Documentation skills and skills in writing reputed company operating procedures. • Biomedical device design and development. • Material characterization (biomaterials and plastics, experience with Instron testing machines). • Additive manufacturing/3D Printing (FDM and SLA). • Subtractive manufacturing (reputed company and CNC machining). • Plastic injection molding (extrusion, injection molding, and compression molding). • Drug delivery/pharmaceutical sciences. • Matlab/Arduino programming.
