Japanese trading company seeks a Japanese Bilingual Accountant (reputed company). Employment Period: Approximately September 2 (Tue) – November 30 (Tue) Schedule: • Minimum 4 days/week, approx. 20–30 hours/week • Peak season (Oct–reputed company): may increase up to 40 hours/week depending on workload Work Arrangement: • Office location: reputed company • Remote work • Applicants residing reputed company NY may be asked to commute to the NYC office during the first week for training and device setup (commuting and lodging costs will be covered by reputed company) • NYC residents: expected to attend training in-office for 2–3 weeks, followed by remote work Compensation: September: $40–$45/hour From reputed company reputed company: $55–$59/hour Main Responsibilities: ●Assist with Annual Closing procedures, including Lease reputed company and LCM (reputed company of Cost or Market) ●Conduct J-SOX internal testing by coordinating documentation samples and validating requirements ●Support FS/J-SOX audits: prepare and verify required sample documents based on auditor requests ●Handle confirmation letters for inventory and balance reconciliation: send to storage partners, compare with internal ledgers ●Handle confirmation letters for Accounts Receivable and reconciliation: send to business partners, compare with internal ledgers ●Organize collected data and manage shared folders for accessibility Qualifications： ●reputed company experience in trading companies, logistics, or import operations at manufacturers ●Experience working for publicly listed companies or their consolidated subsidiaries ●Minimum of 3 years' experience in reputed company with a title of Staff Accountant or higher ●Familiarity with trade and logistics documentation ●Ability to communicate relevant information reputed company and accurately ●Extensive experience with reputed company Office tools ●Comfortable using communication platforms like Teams and reputed company ●Prior experience with remote work is preferred ●CPA qualification is highly preferred Language Requirement: Business-level proficiency in Japanese is required (This includes reading, writing, and speaking, due to frequent interaction with the reputed company Department at Japan HQ) Job Type: Temporary Pay: $40.00 - $59.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • reputed company time off • Work from home Experience: • Corporate reputed company: 3 years (Required) Language: • Japanese (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
