Temp/Casual Research Assistant (# 365911)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Data collection with families and young children with disabilities in homes or via distance technology
• Data coding and data entry
• Translation of project materials, data, and results
• Communication with study participants, including families and early intervention providers
• Collaborate on interpretation of data
• Support reports, manuscripts, and conference presentation preparation
• Manage clerical responsibilities for research projects
• General project management assistance, including goal tracking and regulatory compliance
• Ordering and tracking supplies and equipment
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (or pursuing degree) in communication disorders, early childhood special education, child/developmental psychology, or a related field
• Spanish or Hmong language proficiency (conversational fluency required, native level preferred)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse communities
• Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Suite programs
• Proficient in Zoom or other video conferencing systems
• Detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team member
Nice-to-haves
• Knowledge of early intervention systems for infants and toddlers
• Research experience working with children and/or families
• Knowledge of Qualtrics, NVivo, REDCap, Trello, or similar data management systems
• Knowledge of experimental designs including qualitative research
