About the position
Responsibilities
• Bookkeeping and administrative duties related to human resources.
• Job postings as needed to staff the restaurant.
• Coordinating with vendors.
• Ensuring timely entry and reconciliation of all bookkeeping duties as needed for the owner.
• Processing payroll.
• Processing sales tax monthly.
• Ensuring all compliance policies are met.
• Developing and documenting all policy and procedure.
Requirements
• Restaurant accounting knowledge required.
• Completed accounting coursework.
• At least 3 years of experience as a top-level bookkeeper or staff accountant.
• Great understanding of accounting systems, specifically R365, Xtrachef, and Toast.
• Highly motivated and extremely organized.
• Well-versed in employment law and restaurant regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Looking for a long-term position with a career mentality.
