Creative and Marketing Supervisor (Transit Supervisor)

About the position Responsibilities • Propose, refine, and implement research-informed strategies to increase affinity for Metro among current and prospective riders. • Develop and update an annual calendar of campaigns, channels, and results reporting in coordination with direct reports and colleagues. • Prioritize projects and select appropriate investments of financial resources, staff time, and vendor contracts. • Serve as direct manager to Metro's Creative Team Lead, Marketing Team Lead, Program/Project Manager, Social Media Specialist, and Translation Coordinator. • Provide counsel and assistance to other Metro work groups to meet their creative and marketing needs. • Identify, select, and contract with consultants for Metro communications, marketing, and promotional campaigns. • Propose and revise budget plans, and track expenses and funding sources. Requirements • Minimum of ten years of experience developing and leading high-profile advertising, communications, and marketing campaigns. • Minimum of three years of leadership and management experience. • Effective in-person and written communication skills for interactions with colleagues, customers, and partners. • Expertise in creating, updating, and tracking detailed communications plans and corresponding budgets. • Experience in reaching and marketing to diverse, multi-lingual audiences. • Experience leveraging research to design creative and marketing strategies.
