The Care Continuum Partner - Medical Assistant is a role that supports patients and practices collectively. Responsible for meeting patients where they are within our physical/virtual walls and responsible for advanced level partnerships to support patients outside of the practice walls. Education - Required: • Technical School Diploma as a Medical Assistant or • Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant Education - Preferred: • Associate's Degree Medical Assisting Experience - Required: • 2 years experience interacting with patients and performing identified core functions of a MA. and • 3 years experience working within a complex health system environment or related field. Experience - Preferred: • 4 years experience or more, working within a complex health system environment performing some of these core function. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required: • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Enhances skills through continuing education. • Ability to handle numerous tasks at the same time. • Superior customer service skills. • Working knowledge of basic computer functionality. • Effective and professional written and verbal communication. • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities • Critical thinking skills and solution focused approach. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Preferred: • Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records and scheduling software. • Knowledge of medical terminology.
