The Cognizant global in-house brand and creative team concepts, builds and delivers marketing and campaign content, including integrated support across multiple web properties, for the company's internal and external B2B campaigns. This 6-month role, with the potential of extension, is for an experienced (5+ years) proofreader/copyeditor who is adept at working online and with digital tools. You are passionate about your work, have a sense of humor, and understand the value of collaboration and teamwork. You are excited about the opportunity to solve problems to contribute to integrated campaigns, thought leadership content and brand-level communications. This role will report to Associate Director of Strategic Programs & Quality with close relationship to the in-house copy team. Requirements: • 5+ years of professional proofing/copyediting experience, agency experience a plus • Competence with Microsoft 360 applications, as well as Adobe Acrobat • Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills • Ability to work well within tight deadlines and competing priorities in fast-paced collaborative team environment • A keen eye for detail and consistency, with an inherent drive for excellence • Able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision • Able to work remotely—and at ease with same • Open to exploring generative AI tools • Familiarity with Adobe Workfront is a plus • MUST submit portfolio of work for consideration. Detailed job description • Review a wide range of copy, everything from 60-character social media posts to web pages and 60-slide presentations • Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntax errors • Contribute to clarity, flow and structure • Fact-check all copy • Check content against an in-house style guide and the AP Style Book • Understand and adhere to brand voice, tone and style • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and respect deadlines • Collaborate with copywriters to produce clear and grammatically correct copy that helps build audience confidence and trust • Communicate best practices to copywriters Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
