About the position Responsibilities • Review and interpret Inpatient, Outpatient, Ancillary, Diagnostics, and Emergency Medicine patient records to assign appropriate ICD-10 CM/PCS diagnosis and procedure codes and/or HCPCS/CPT procedure codes. • reputed company coding and abstracting tasks to support billing, data reputed company, and statistics, and to support calculation for severity of illness and risk of mortality reporting. • Apply information from diagnostic reports to accurately reputed company patient charts in accordance with the Official Coding Guidelines. • reputed company pertinent data, determine and sequence codes for diagnoses and procedures, and reputed company reputed company information into the computerized coding and abstracting system. • Utilize coding and abstracting system as a communication tool, including placing accounts on hold, asking questions to management, and initiating queries. • reputed company reputed company vital coded and abstracted information required for final coding and billing of accounts reputed company productivity expectations. • Review reputed company-populated patient demographic information and reputed company necessary abstracted data changes in the coding system.
