Job Title: Math Tutor (Part Time) General Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Director of Educational Development, plans and facilitates collaborative math tutoring sessions for middle and/or high school students... Major Duties • Meets regularly with the Director of Educational Development • Plans and facilitates group and/or 1:1 math tutoring sessions • Assists students in the development of appropriate study skills, completion of homework and projects, and exploring topics of interest to the student • Maintains consistent communication the Director of Educational Development • Models appropriate academic and social behaviors • Performs other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities • Ability to work with students of diverse ethnic backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels • Possess good interpersonal and organizational skills • Must demonstrate responsibility, a desire to help others, discretion, and flexibility • Knowledge of academic content and skills • Application of such knowledge and tools to help students access material • Ability to collect and analyze data to drive future instruction • Ability to work independently applying critical thinking skills and problem solving to various situations Qualifications • Must have extensive teaching and/or tutoring experience in math and be able to provide proof of vaccination Apply To This Job Check More Online Tutoring Jobs Apply tot his job
