Remote Hospice Triage LPN PT Weekend (Sat & Sun) only
About the position
Responsibilities
• Provide after-hours triage support for hospice and home health clients.
• Utilize client-customized protocols to deliver compassionate care to patients.
• Access EMRs for charting and utilize internal applications for job functions.
• Communicate empathically with patients while adhering to established protocols.
• Handle multiple calls efficiently, managing a minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays and up to 8 on weekends.
• Complete required charting and documentation at the end of each shift.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain continuing education units (CEUs) as required.
Requirements
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Compact LPN license.
• Experience in hospice, palliative, and end-of-life care is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment such as emergency departments, surgical services, or critical care is preferred.
• Must be comfortable accessing multiple technology applications for documentation during calls.
• Ability to type quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a bonus.
• Must reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work for any employer.
• Must complete three weeks of remote paid training during days and evenings.
• Must be available to work holidays as required.
• Must be able to handle stress and multitask effectively.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is a plus.
• Additional language skills are beneficial.
