The Senior Manager of Business and Product Communications develops, executes, and supports executive communication initiatives for Labcorp and its most senior leaders, including the Chief Executive Officer and the company’s Executive Committee. The Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications plan to enhance and promote Labcorp’s vision and strategic goals to our internal and external audiences globally. This role manages one additional team member and reports directly to the Executive Director of Business and Product Communications. Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for developing and implementing strategic executive communications programs for Labcorp’s Chief Executive Officer and the company’s most senior leaders that reinforce the company’s priorities and progress in support of key initiatives, including internal communication, thought leadership, employee communication, and internal/external events and speaking engagements. • Serve as writer and advisor to senior executives, including driving the creation and delivery of compelling, executive-level presentation materials for global audiences (e.g., slides, scripts, messaging documents, talking points, intranet content, employee communications, announcements and more). • Translate business strategy, initiatives, and progress for a full range of internal and external audiences. • Establish individual voices for each leader to effectively engage and inform key audiences. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on agenda and content development for leadership meetings such as department-level Town Hall meetings. • Manage speaking engagement calendars for Labcorp’s CEO and Executive Committee to ensure alignment of key messages both internally and externally. • Measure, evaluate, and modify communications plans and tactics to improve impact and effectiveness.​ Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field; master’s degree preferred. • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in communications or related field. • Strong background in the healthcare industry, preferred. • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives around complex products and concepts. • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work effectively with executives and stakeholders at all levels. • Strong leadership and team management skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor, develop and empower employees and key stakeholders. • Expertise in media, public relations, employee engagement and communications.
