Job Title: Business Development Associate – Student Housing Partnerships (Florida) Location: Florida (Tallahassee preferred) | Field-based with travel across key college towns Employment Type: Contract or Full-Time About Earnifi Earnifi is reimagining access to credit and rent flexibility for Gen Z. Backed by leading VCs, we’re rolling out localized pilot programs across Florida—and student housing partners are central to our success. Role Overview We’re looking for an energetic and well-connected Business Development Associate to drive Earnifi’s expansion across PMC-run student housing communities in Florida. Your mission: build high-trust partnerships with leasing teams, general managers, and regional property operators to integrate Earnifi into student life across campuses—starting with Florida State University and expanding regionally. Key Responsibilities Identify, pitch, and close partnerships with PMC-run student housing properties across Florida, focusing on properties near FSU and other major universities. Develop relationships with Property GMs, leasing managers, and regional decision-makers to unlock co-branded promotions, student onboarding opportunities, and on-ground activations. Drive awareness of Earnifi’s benefits—flexible rent, credit-building tools, and co-branded incentive programs—tailored to each property’s goals. Coordinate on-ground events, resident onboarding, and promotional collaborations in partnership with Earnifi’s marketing and activation teams. Serve as the local voice of the brand, providing on-the-ground insights and feedback from leasing teams and student residents. Preferred Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development—ideally in student housing, real estate, or high-touch B2B relationships. Existing relationships with PMC operators or leasing managers in Florida is a big plus. Strong communication, pitching, and relationship-building skills. Passionate about Gen Z needs, student life, or financial wellness. Highly self-driven, with comfort operating independently in a field-based role.
