We're hiring an Operations & Growth Associate — a unique position designed for someone who thrives on initiative, wants to learn every corner of a business, and aspires to grow into a leadership or partnership role over time.
You’ll work directly with an experienced entrepreneur who owns:
A profitable, fast-growing solar energy company
80 acres of upstate land with a working B&B
A portfolio of student housing properties near a major university
This is more than a virtual assistant role. It’s a launchpad for a driven individual looking to wear multiple hats across operations, marketing, systems-building, and growth strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing calendars, inboxes, scheduling, and follow-ups
Creating and documenting repeatable systems (SOPs, workflows, templates)
Overseeing or supporting social media, marketing, and basic design tasks
Conducting research and competitive analysis
Helping build operational dashboards, databases, or simple automations
Working directly on projects related to real estate, hospitality, and clean energy
Tracking and improving KPIs, lead generation, and client management systems
Supporting hiring and team management workflows
Communicating clearly with vendors, clients, and contractors
Taking ownership of projects that need attention — and getting them done
You Might Be a Fit If You:
Have a business, finance, or marketing background with experience in small corporate operations.
Are a fast learner who adapts well and thrives without micro-management
Are familiar with tools like Google Workspace, Quickbase, and QuickBooks.
Think in systems and love solving problems efficiently
Want to be mentored by and build with someone who's been in the game
Can see yourself as a future Chief of Staff or business partner
Have strong communication skills, including writing and documentation
Bonus if you have experience with real estate, hospitality, or solar/green tech
