PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of GAAP. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of our organization through diligent record-keeping and reporting. Duties • Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial transactions. • Utilize accounting software to manage financial data and streamline processes. • Assist in budgeting activities, providing insights for financial planning. • Conduct account reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial statements. • Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records, ensuring timely processing of employee payments. • Generate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review. • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all accounting practices. • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. • Proficiency in accounting software and financial software applications. • Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and payroll processes. • Familiarity with budgeting techniques and financial report writing. • Knowledge of GAAP principles is essential. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
