Assistant National Director
About the position
Responsibilities
• Oversee the comprehensive business operations of AARP Foundation's Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP).
• Supervise 4 other managers and ensure effective management of all operational areas.
• Monitor overall grant expenditures alongside the National Director to maintain fiscal and program accountability and integrity.
• Assist in the annual stewardship of grant funds.
• Serve on the SCSEP leadership team and provide direct support to headquarters management as needed.
• Identify, investigate, analyze, and recommend alternative solutions to operational, management, and administrative challenges.
• Manage program/department assets and budgets.
• Develop and manage a high performing team of people managers and individual contributors.
• Analyze and direct program resource planning, business requirements, and needs assessments.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to adapt new and complex system development methodologies to complex projects.
• Understanding of multifaceted inter-relationships of multiple business subsidiaries and departments.
• Knowledge of enterprise technology systems and process management.
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
