Salary: Monthly consulting fee based on experience and proven portfolio Prospect Researcher - Remote We seek highly skilled consultants to conduct prospect research for our clients. In this position, you will work with the project lead and fundraiser to conduct research and prepare donor briefings for prospect lists. A detail-oriented, creative, and analytical mindset is a must.The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment. The applicant will attend virtual meetings and prepare briefing reports through Basecamp. A passion for social justice Duties and Responsibilities • Using a broad spectrum of sources, research, identify, evaluate, and organize prospect funders who can give and connect to the client. • Research potential individual prospects to support the clients grantee partner's fundraising campaigns. • Grantee Partner prepare qualified government, corporate, foundation, and individual prospects with a history of giving to similar organizations. • Produce in-depth briefs on prospects based on data from the donor database, available financial records, real estate ownership, and other markers of high-quality donors, as requested. • Identify and organize multiple means of contact information for each prospect and prepare thorough briefings with verified contact information. • Implement new research techniques as they arise, striving to design the ultimate prospective research methodology. • Work with other fundraiser consultants, the project lead, and key team members on the BPC client account whenever necessary to provide optimal information to enhance the client experience. • Prepare a monthly report of activities based on deliverables. • Attend internal virtual team meetings, monthly disrupters meetings, and BPC training opportunities. • All BPC formats are to be used with complete information. Qualifications • BS/BA in business or relevant field preferred. • Minimum three years of prospect research and writing for projects. • Experience in data analysis, research, and testing techniques. • Experience developing detailed client deliverables and internal reports. • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work 10 hours per week and be available during the day for monthly meetings.
