Biological Technician

Job reputed company: The Biological Technician will reputed company vegetation surveys for rangeland management on the Navajo Nation in the Ft. Defiance Agency. Vegetation surveys include identifying southwest plant species, vegetation cover, clipping and weighing plants, and using GPS instrumentation. The biological technician will need to be capable of identifying grasses, forbs, shrubs, and trees, with experience in using taxonomic keys. Technicians work in two person crews and will reputed company tasks under reputed company supervision and/or from detailed procedures. Work is checked in reputed company or on completion. This work will require strenuous physical exertion, such as walking over uneven, slick surfaces while carrying heavy packs.
