Job Title: Online Reading & Writing Teacher – Upper Elementary (Grades 4–6) Pay Rate: $18–$27/hour (W2 part-time) Positions Available: Multiple Start Date: ASAP Application Deadline: Open until filled About Us Academic Instinct Tutoring is a New York–based online tutoring company specializing in literacy growth for elementary students. Our mission is simple: help every child gain the confidence, skills, and love for learning they deserve. We use a neuroscience-informed, SEL-integrated approach to ensure students not only improve academically but also develop the emotional skills needed for lifelong success. About the RISE Reading & Writing Program The RISE Reading & Writing Program helps students in grades 1–6 advance their reading fluency, comprehension, and writing skills by up to two grade levels in as little as four months. Lessons are delivered live online in small groups (no more than 5 students per class), twice a week, for 1 hour each. Using our proprietary R.I.S.E. Learning Method (Regulate to Focus, Identify Patterns That Stick, Strengthen Core Pathways, Expand Ahead with Confidence), tutors guide students through engaging, structured lessons. Lesson plans are provided, and instruction is supported by Zoom, Google Classroom, and TutorCruncher.
