Remote Quality Assurance Analyst Department: Technical Employment Type: Part Time Location: Online River LLC Compensation: $28.00 - $34.00 / hour Description Remote Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of software applications. This role involves reviewing, testing, and analyzing software to identify any bugs, issues, or inconsistencies before a product’s release. The QA Analyst collaborates closely with development and project teams to ensure the final product meets company and client standards. Key Responsibilities • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts. • Conduct manual and automated testing of software. • Identify, document, and report bugs and issues. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality outcomes. • Perform regression testing after updates or bug fixes. • Conduct performance and security testing. • Verify client requirements are met. • Test user interfaces for functionality and design consistency. • Prepare reports on test results and product quality. • Stay updated on QA tools and methodologies for continuous improvement. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete). • Proficiency in bug tracking software like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
