As a Senior Manager, Business Intelligence & Workday Product Development, you will own and lead the development and execution of the Workday platform strategy within the People Analytics team, driving success and growth through data-driven insights.

In this remote role, you will manage a team of Workday developers, oversee the design and creation of reports and dashboards, and ensure a user-centric approach to development that aligns with the needs of various personas across Verizon and HR. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs, translate them into actionable Workday solutions, and promote the adoption and utilization of Workday across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive short and long-term vision and strategy for the Workday platform, aligning with the overall People Analytics and broader organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of Workday developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality Workday reports and dashboards that meet the needs of diverse user personas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across HR and Verizon to understand their reporting and analytics needs, translating them into actionable Workday solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Stay abreast of Workday best practices and emerging technologies, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the platform.
  • Promote the adoption and utilization of Workday across the organization through training, communication, and user support initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, with a strong focus on Workday development.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading small teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Looker, Tableau) and survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics).
