Architectural Job Captain - Institutional (FT)

Our Providence, RI, architectural client has both Residential and Institutional Practice Groups. Their work consists of a variety of projects including private homes, educational and community facilities, historic preservation, and master planning. They are looking for an Architectural Job Captain with experience in institutional building design. The preferred candidate is someone that thrives in a hands-on collaborative environment, has a professional architectural degree, 2 – 5 of experience in the profession, and lives in Rhode Island, Connecticut, or Massachusetts. This role can be performed as remote or hybrid. You will need the following qualifications: • BArch or MArch. • Two or more years of experience. Preferred Skillsets: • Sound knowledge of construction systems, building and fire codes, and bid documents. • Understanding of structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings. • Congenial and professional management of a project team, including junior staff, internal colleagues, external contractors, clients, and stakeholders. • Proficiency with Revit, and Sketchup.
