Join Our Dynamic Team in Daytona Beach, FL! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Writing Specialist to provide exceptional writing support to students, faculty, and staff. As a key member of our Writing Center team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic success of our students. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct writing support to students, faculty, and staff through tutoring, workshops, online support, and other writing support services
- Maintain records of writing support and work on special projects to enhance the Writing Center's programs and services
- Gather, verify, and maintain information to support periodic and special reports
- Attend staff meetings, professional seminars, and conferences to stay current on best practices and improve academic and professional skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Composition & Rhetoric, Education, or a closely related field
- Two years of related work experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multiple-task environment and promote positive student, faculty, and staff relations
