Employee Advocate (Part-Time) - Empowering Individuals with Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Employee Advocate to provide advocacy, coaching, and job retention support to participants at a community-based work site. As an Employee Advocate, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential and thrive in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation, research, and implement accommodations to ensure participants' success
- Provide coaching and support on schedules, rules, duties, facilities, and soft skills to enhance participants' independence
- Build positive relationships with employers, site supervisors, and participants to foster a supportive work environment
- Collect data, record progress, and complete required documentation to ensure accurate tracking and evaluation
- Assist with identifying natural supports in the community and referring participants to other programs as needed

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree with relevant experience preferred
- Current Workplace Supports Certification or completion within first 6 months of employment
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or completion within 90 days of employment
- Strong organizational skills, effective time management, and ability to work independently
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities helpful
