Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Remote Services Technician to join our team. As a Remote Services Technician, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch technical support and customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Key Responsibilities:
- Actively listen to customer needs, providing education on products and services to prevent churn and ensure customer satisfaction
- Respond to customer inquiries and problems in real-time, utilizing persuasive techniques to overcome objections and upsell services
- Make outbound calls to new customers, ensuring they are satisfied with their new installation and addressing any concerns or issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and service-related issues using remote control tools, including PC/MAC, tablet, and smartphone app support
- Meet retention, sales, and customer service performance metrics, consistently delivering high-quality results
- Educate customers on product and service features, operation, and value, ensuring they are equipped to get the most out of our solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service and/or technical support environment, with a proven track record of success
- Strong understanding of wired and wireless home networks, including multiple network technologies (DNS, DHCP, WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, Port Forwarding)
- Working knowledge of computers, smartphones, tablets, and other peripheral devices, with the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively over the phone
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to follow written instructions and integrate changes in instruction effectively
- Successful completion of our technical test and interview process, as well as an extensive background check
