Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Remote Hybrid Data Analyst to join our dynamic team, where you will play a vital role in driving data-driven insights to support grant-funded projects focused on STEM education and serving Hispanic communities. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to monitor and report on grant objectives, ensuring that data analysis informs institutional decisions and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to gather, compile, and analyze data from diverse systems to aid in decision-making and promote informed choices (30%)
  • Maintain and refine grant-specific data, ensuring accurate collection methods and documentation for key performance indicators, cohort metrics, and event participation (30%)
  • Prepare and disseminate internal reports, performing trend analysis to enhance data utilization and inform stakeholders (15%)
  • Collaborate with grant personnel to assess the effectiveness of initiatives, events, and projects to guarantee alignment with grant objectives (10%)
  • Assist in compiling data for the grant's Annual Performance Report (5%)
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive schedule for data collection and dissemination, facilitating improved access to data across the institution (5%)
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall achievements of the team and organization (3%)
  • Report any Clery Act crimes to the appropriate campus office as a Campus Security Authority (1%)
  • Uphold a discrimination- and harassment-free workplace by reporting any incidents to the designated Title IX personnel and participating in necessary training (1%)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Research, or a related area from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Solid experience in database management, data analysis, and reporting
  • Proficiency in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making reasoned recommendations
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
