Position Overview: In this role, you will deliver remote instruction and support to students with special needs who require bilingual services. You will work closely with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and specialized instruction, providing virtual support and accommodations to help students overcome learning challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver remote instruction and support to students with special needs who require bilingual services
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and specialized instruction
- Provide virtual support and accommodations to help students overcome learning challenges
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies
- Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support their child's educational journey
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in bilingual special education
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education with a bilingual endorsement or certification
- Arizona Special Education teaching licensure or the ability to obtain it
- Strong virtual communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students with diverse needs succeed
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a remote teaching environment
