Transformational Leader Wanted: Provider Network Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Tennessee Medicaid network activities, ensuring continuous improvement of programs and services for TennCare. As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement network adequacy reports, process improvement strategies, and provider education activities, while also overseeing the annual departmental budget and enforcing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and evaluate Tennessee Medicaid network activities to ensure continuous improvement of programs and services for TennCare
- Develop and implement network adequacy reports and process improvement strategies
- Interview, hire, evaluate, and develop staff to ensure accountability for achievement of department goals and objectives
- Develop and recommend new network programs and oversee their implementation
- Coordinate and oversee dental provider education activities and communications
- Develop and recommend the annual departmental budget and monitor its implementation
- Communicate with and advise executive management on the planning and activities of government business
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Seven years of related experience in the business of healthcare (dentistry preferred)
- Two years of management experience
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and procedures (dental preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex problems using independent judgment
