Program Manager, Denied Party Screening (DPS) - Remote Opportunity
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our centralized Denied Party Screening (DPS) team, responsible for developing and implementing denied party and sanctions screening systems and processes. As a Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional projects, drive process improvements, and manage sanctions risk to ensure compliance with regulations and deliver value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage projects from beginning to end, including project scope, timeline, capacity planning, resource allocation, and project execution
- Proactively manage change control, identify issues, and devise contingency plans to ensure project success
- Identify and manage project dependencies, prioritize risks, and critical paths to ensure timely project delivery
- Collaborate with DPS management, tech, operations, Amazon Legal, and multiple other teams to develop project management standards and drive process improvements
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance customer and business needs versus resource constraints

Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- PMP certificate
