Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented RPM Technician to respond to incoming alerts from remote monitoring systems, follow established workflows, and escalate issues to our clinical team as needed. This role requires strong medical knowledge, excellent computer skills, and outstanding communication abilities. As a RPM Technician, you will ensure timely and efficient handling of patient data, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service and support to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and complete information using appropriate methods and tools
- Respond to alerts within established timelines, ensuring prompt attention to patient needs
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, adhering to customer service expectations in every call interaction
- Make outbound phone calls to patients on Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs, providing support and guidance
- Monitor uploads and readings, ensuring seamless data management
- Go above and beyond to deliver exceptional patient care and service, embodying our values of hard work, engagement, honesty, and reliability
- Monitor incoming alerts from remote patient monitoring systems, following established workflows to address and resolve issues
- Escalate issues to the clinical team when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring data integrity and compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, clinical teams, and other stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with patients, clinical teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination
- Utilize software efficiently, leveraging technology to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices
Qualifications:
- Strong medical knowledge, preferably with a background in healthcare (e.g., nursing, medical assistant, EMT)
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with EHR systems and other healthcare software
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- High-speed internet connection and reliable home office setup, ensuring seamless remote work capabilities
- Outstanding communication and phone skills, with ability to communicate effectively with patients, clinical teams, and other stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with others to achieve common goals
- Prior experience in remote patient monitoring or telehealth is a plus, with ability to apply knowledge and skills to enhance patient care and outcomes
Work Schedule:
We offer a flexible schedule, with weekend support required. Our current schedule includes:
- Saturday: 9am - 2pm EST
