Job Title: Network Support Technician - Government Services

Job Description:

Join our team as a Network Support Technician, where you will play a vital role in providing top-notch technical support to our government clients. As a trusted provider of secure, IP-enabled, cloud-based network solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team.

In this role, you will provide onsite and remote Tier 2 support, resolving complex IT issues promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime. You will work closely with our IT Field Operations team, providing LAN administrator support, installing and configuring network devices, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing LAN administrator support for network communication devices, servers, and network storage arrays
  • Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, including hardware, software, and network diagnostics
  • Assisting in testing, applying, and maintaining server configurations and security patches
  • Monitoring ITSM (ServiceNow) assignment groups and applying troubleshooting to resolve tickets
  • Providing daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports and inventory support

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Support Technician with a strong background in IT support, preferably in a helpdesk or customer support role. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required qualifications include:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of IT-related support experience
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, or other IT issues
  • General knowledge of network products and systems
  • Excellent team skills and collaboration skills

Desired qualifications include:

  • Prior experience in IT support in an Enterprise environment (10,000+ end-users)
  • Experience evaluating system performance results and recommending improvements
  • ITIL v4, MCSE, A+, Security+, Network+, or other relevant certifications
