Medical Transcriptionist (Full-Time) - Remote Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at Stormont Vail Health. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for transcribing dictation from healthcare professionals in a timely and accurate manner. Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe reports, including but not limited to pathology, cardiology, clinic and office notes, radiology, and letters
• Edit PowerScribe reports as needed
• Contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction and process improvement
• Maintain confidentiality of patient reports and information
• Audit provider documentation for accuracy on a weekly basis
• Meet daily average minimum production of 100 minutes
• Type STAT requests as necessary
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the transcription manager or director of the department

Requirements:

• 1 year of typing or transcriptionist experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in complex medical terminology
• High degree of concentration and attention to detail
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and with frequent interruptions
• Excellent judgment and communication skills
