Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Utility Employee to join our TechOps team at Delta Air Lines. As a Maintenance Utility Employee, you will play a critical role in maintaining the equipment, tooling, and parts located on the ramp, inside and outside of the Base Maintenance facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the hangar and outside the hangar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain equipment, tooling, and parts located on the ramp, inside and outside of the Base Maintenance facilities
  • Operate and locate equipment in and around the aircraft located on the ramp area outside of Base Maintenance hangar facilities
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the hangar and outside the hangar
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning, stripping, blasting, and coating of aircraft parts
  • Assist in determining the appropriate detergents, solutions, and equipment to effectively and efficiently accomplish shop and aircraft related functions
  • Coordinate the flow of parts and supplies around the bay to support the AMTs and ensure safe work environment
  • May be asked to support aircraft movement as a tug driver, brake rider, marshal, or wing walker if candidate has completed required training

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or high school equivalency
  • Valid driver's license
  • At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Physical requirements: lift 50lbs, multi-task, work under pressure, and work a flexible schedule
  • Team player and self-starter
  • Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Aircraft Movement experience
  • Operation of ground support equipment
