Join Our Team as a Math/Literacy Tutor and Make a Difference in the Lives of Middle School Students!
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Math/Literacy Tutor to work with students in grades 6-8 in a remote setting. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in improving the math and literacy skills of our students, working closely with content area teachers, and contributing to the overall success of our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the needs of middle school students and develop effective methods of instruction to improve their math and literacy skills.
- Provide individualized tutoring to students in grades 6-8 outside of the classroom setting.
- Maintain and analyze data on student performance to inform instruction and drive progress.
- Participate in SRBI meetings and collaborate with content area teachers to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of math and literacy skills for middle school students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Valid teaching certification or related field.
