We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist at FedEx, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, and upholding the highest standards of warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange merchandise in a neat and accessible manner on shelves and racks
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory records and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored, facilitating efficient order fulfillment
- Assist in the unloading and sorting of newly arrived packages
- Maintain a tidy and well-organized workspace, promoting optimal productivity and safety
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve stocking and inventory objectives
- Provide support with selecting and packaging items as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift and relocate heavy objects
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems
