Math Tutor (Middle & High School) - Inspire Young Minds and Shape the Future of Education

As a Remote Math Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art and comfortable environment, utilizing your exceptional teaching skills to drive student success. We offer a competitive salary range of $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, a part-time schedule, and the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home in the USA.
As a Math Tutor, you will be responsible for leading one-on-one or small group lessons, catering to the unique needs and goals of each student. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing classroom or curricula topics and assignments to ensure students are well-prepared and confident
- Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research, and other academic tasks to help them achieve academic excellence
- Working with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom, and providing additional support when needed
- Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
- Demonstrating academic best practices for specific subjects and assignments, including research and writing tactics
- Developing and distributing teaching materials to supplement classroom lessons, including study guides and practice tests
- Conducting practice tests to track progress, identify areas of improvement, and help set goals for exam preparation
- Providing students with positive and constructive feedback to encourage growth and development
- Offering feedback on progress to students' parents and teachers where appropriate to ensure a collaborative approach to education
- Building meaningful connections with students from diverse backgrounds and instructing students both in person and over video chat
- Diagnosing student needs through active listening techniques and questioning strategies to provide personalized support
- Recognizing different learning styles and student preferences to design differentiated learning goals
- Staying up to date with the school curriculum to ensure you are equipped to provide the best possible support to your students
