**Job Title:** Senior Data Governance Specialist - Remote Opportunity with Competitive Salary

This is a full-time, contract position with a competitive hourly rate of $30.00 - $60.00 per hour. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance, ETL tools, and Curam V6 or higher. As a Senior Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
- Coordinating cross-agency efforts to ensure compliance with official agency records requirements, privacy, security, and other related requirements
- Establishing data-quality metrics and requirements, including defining values, ranges, and parameters for each data element
- Facilitating the creation of data standards based on business rules, data access security requirements, and retention of legacy data
- Reviewing agency and interagency data-related work products and coordinating efforts with stakeholder agencies
- Presenting findings and recommendations to leadership, Executive Steering Committee, and other stakeholders regarding recommended changes to improve operating practices, accountability, or transparency
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of experience in data governance, ETL tools, and Curam V6 or higher
- Strong experience in healthcare data, business intelligence solutions, and systems/software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders
- Ability to analyze complex, abstract issues in a logical, structured way
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, and Visio
