Position Summary
As a Data Ops Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, resilient distributed systems for data ingestion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide a frictionless experience for our customers while maintaining the highest standards of protection and availability.
Responsibilities
- Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems for data ingestion
- Create dashboards that display next-level metrics for consumption
- Design and implement data quality solutions, data lineage solutions, and data product management
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
- Utilize programming languages like Python, C#, SQL, and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services, and Azure tools and services
- Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
- Assume ownership of existing business processes and services, driving enhancements and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience in Big Data
- 2+ years of experience with architecture and design, cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), and open-source frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
- Programming experience with modern languages such as Java, C++, or C#
- In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms, micro-services oriented architecture, and DevOps concepts
- Experience with GIT, GraphDB, Big Data, Load test tooling, troubleshooting tools, Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling
