Data Analyst, System Operations (EDI) - Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst, System Operations (EDI) to join our team at Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the integration of EDI, payroll, and demographic files for our clients and vendor partners. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of EDI and payroll implementations, including discovery, build, test, and production.
- Ensure timely delivery of payroll and carrier files.
- Verify accurate processing of demographic files and update the benefit administration platform.
- Collaborate with clients and vendors to resolve demographic import issues and EDI file discrepancies.
- Perform audits to ensure data accuracy between the benefits administration system and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Client Services, EDI Engineers, and Configuration Analysts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience handling large data sets, with 1+ year of experience working with employee payroll or benefits data.
- 2+ years of experience working with EDI integrations, including 834 file formats.
- 2+ years of experience with benefits administration systems.
- Intermediate to expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to work in Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel experience (Vlookup, etc.).
- Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment.
