Job Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and handling new patient medication orders and reorders
- Verifying and updating benefits, confirming copays, and obtaining approvals
- Collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve order issues
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and internal partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Active IL Pharmacy Technician License
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, handling complex client needs via phone
- 1+ year of experience with Windows-based applications (Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email)
- 1+ year of PC keyboarding experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare experience
- Knowledge of benefits, insurance, pharmacy, and clinical terminology
