About the Role

As a Customs Brokerage Representative III, you will demonstrate advanced knowledge of entry writing, classification according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedules (HTS), and participation in government agencies clearances (PGA), Code of Regulations, and Customs regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customs entries and forward freight to designated locations, interfacing with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers.
• Follow up on the clearance process for all entries prepared, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors, resolving issues efficiently.
• Coordinate freight delivery to designated locations, ensuring seamless logistics.
• Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues, driving accuracy and efficiency.
• Scan entries into the imaging system, meeting allotted and sensitive time requirements.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis using various software packages and databases.
• Establish and maintain client relationships, providing exceptional customer service.
• Work on a rotational basis, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operation and account needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working for a Customs Broker.
• Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, and regulations, and other government departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• BOSS experience required.
• Accurate and rapid data entry skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
