USC Auxiliary Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Services Representative to join our dynamic team! As a hybrid role, you will have the flexibility to balance your time between our Remote office and home. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, work with a talented team, and contribute to the success of one of the largest divisions at The University of Southern California.

As a Customer Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our students, faculty, staff, parents, and guests. You will take pride in providing top-notch customer service, resolving issues, and maintaining the University's high standards for excellence. Our team is committed to creating a positive and friendly work environment, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional service.

The Opportunity:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers
  • Resolve customer issues, offer solutions, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Inspect and maintain university-owned properties, including vehicle gates and parking facilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations as needed
  • Collaborate with vendors, student workers, and other teams to achieve department goals
  • Participate in special events and provide support as needed

The Qualifiers:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment; 2 years of experience preferred
  • Expertise:
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English
    • Valid CA driver's license required
    • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
    • Analytical skills and ability to take initiatives
