USC Auxiliary Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Services Representative to join our dynamic team! As a hybrid role, you will have the flexibility to balance your time between our Remote office and home. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, work with a talented team, and contribute to the success of one of the largest divisions at The University of Southern California.
As a Customer Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our students, faculty, staff, parents, and guests. You will take pride in providing top-notch customer service, resolving issues, and maintaining the University's high standards for excellence. Our team is committed to creating a positive and friendly work environment, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional service.
The Opportunity:
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers
- Resolve customer issues, offer solutions, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Inspect and maintain university-owned properties, including vehicle gates and parking facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations as needed
- Collaborate with vendors, student workers, and other teams to achieve department goals
- Participate in special events and provide support as needed
The Qualifiers:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience: 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment; 2 years of experience preferred
- Expertise:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Valid CA driver's license required
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Analytical skills and ability to take initiatives
