Our focus is on supporting physician offices in all aspects of care delivery and operations, including clinical integration, contracting, quality, care coordination, and care management.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Contract Administrator to assist our Leadership Team with third-party payor contracting activities across various market segments. As a Contract Administrator, you will maintain an understanding of the impact of negotiations on population health and value-based contracting. Your expertise will be essential in communicating the advantages of contracting with McLaren, providing ongoing support throughout the contracting process, and administering payor agreements.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between contracted Health Plans and MPP, MHPN, MHCC, and subsidiaries.
  • Maintain organizational documents for educating subsidiaries on managed care contracts.
  • Collaborate with the team on implementing corporate initiatives.
  • Lead negotiations and coordinate contract workflow for assigned plans.
  • Review contract language, redline documents, and evaluate areas of concern.
  • Facilitate problem-solving of escalated contractual, payor policy, and operational issues.

This position is fully remote.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Associate degree and two (2) years of experience in managed care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of experience in managed care.
  • An additional five (5) years of experience in contracting or networking in a managed care organization, Health Plan, PHO, PO, or similar organization.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in healthcare management, finance, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience with plan and provider contracting with both Facility and Professional.
