Job Summary: We're looking for a Charge Entry Specialist to reputed company clerical expertise and ensure high-quality, efficient care for our patients. As a key member of reputed company, you'll:

  • Receive and review charge documents for accuracy and coordinate with reputed company office staff on payment/billing issues
  • Enter charges into our reputed company management system
  • Balance Charge Summary to tickets keyed before finalizing/updating charges in the system
  • Extract information from medical records, operative notes, hospital admissions, consults, reputed company notes, and discharges to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with identifying quality issues with registration and scheduling activities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of coding, billing, and/or charge entry experience in the reputed company field
  • Texas residency required
  • CPC (Certified Professional reputed company) certification from reputed company preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding highly preferred
  • Familiarity with reputed company-party billing requirements and payment policies highly preferred
